So, after high school I attended Hood College in Fred-Rock, MD, just south of Mount St. Mary's and enjoyed visiting many other SMRians. Truly utilizing my hard earned liberal arts degree, I went to work at The Gap outside Los Angeles for a couple years. Enjoyed my time in the land of the fruits and nuts and attended Cal. State to become a teacher. Unfortunately there was this pesky graduation requirement about passing Spanish. That and the earthquakes and wildfires helped me decide it was time to return to MD in 1996. Yes, I got sucked back into St. Mary's County...never thought it would happen! I completed my MA in teaching at College of Notre Dame (no Spanish requirement) and began working in the public school system in 1997. "Met" David Bailey and got married in 1998....to David. We have two kids, Jane (7 yrs.) and Mac (4 yrs.), named after our favorite horse pulling team at the county fair. I am currently teaching kindergarten at a local parochial school and living in good 'ole Medley's Neck, my original stomping grounds, about 10 minutes from Leonardtown.

Upon graduating from Ryken I attended St. Mary’s College of MD, where I obtained a B.A. in drinking, oops, I mean Psychology. I lived in St. Mary’s County for several years and did actually get a chance to use my degree working with chronically mentally ill adults. In the following years I moved closer to the DC area and changed fields to become an Administrative Assistant (yep, that degree didn’t get used for long but it sure looked good on the resume). I got married to John in 2002 and have had the chance to travel to Italy, Ireland and Spain. I became a homemaker after being knocked up with my pride and joy, Aiden, who is now two. John and I live in Winchester, Virginia, and are now expecting our second child in March. I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!
